Favourite Things Friday – Lisa Gerrard

Lisa’s voice is amazing. I remember first hearing her voice in the 90s – although she’s been around for a lot longer, having been one half of the Australian band Dead Can Dance, formed in 1981.
I have a number of her (and their) albums and find the music at once atmospheric and ‘cutting’ – that type of cutting that forces its way up through your diaphragm and gets you right under the ribs.
