Writing & Poetry

I am a word bird; I love to write. I especially love speculative fiction and myth-based poetry. I have a degree in Creative Writing and my grownup job requires me to wangle words.

If you’re interested, some of my writing and poetry can be found on my poetry blog 12 Degrees and Skiving and online at poetry site The Legendary (offline at last check).

I’ve had a play aired on ABC Radio National as part of the Illawarra Water Project, which you can listen to here and I also have a couple of poems in Tide, Vol 5 and 6s Vol 3, I was one of Bentlily’s guest poets (also offline now), and then there are the forgotten fragments in anthologies like this one I just came across scattered throughout cyberland and the tangible world. From time to time they find me again.

I’ve also three novels ready for the editing , one of which is multi-generational based loosely on my grandmother in Germany during World War II, and her migration to Australia in 1950.

    Dear Kitty,
Am writing from Germany and found your site by searching for Ouroboros rings. The one you made here is the very one we would love to have!! How much does it cost and how long will it send it to Germany? We intend to marry on August 8th, 2013. We really would be happy to get in good contact with you 🙂
    Love from Heike and Hannes
